Warm Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Super Bowl Sunday ! Great dish here to serve with pita chips, tortilla chips or crostinis. This is one of three dishes for the big game.

  • 1 pkg. of frozen chopped spinach, thawed, strained
  • 2 – 14 oz. can Artichoke hearts,drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup soft cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives

Preheat oven to 350, then in cuisinart pulse soft cream cheeswe with cottage cheese. Put in mixing bowl. add well drained spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese, 3/4 cup of mozzarella cheese, garlic salt and pepper. Mix well, add to baking dish, top with the rest of cheeses, bake for 15 minutes til bubbling and lightly browned, top with chopped chives.
